The ski and snowboard season has come to an end.
The snow table will remain active and will be left to accumulate snow until mid May.
At that time we will disable for the summer season.
The snowdepth estimate does not account for the processes that affect snow density once the snow is on the ground. The relation that is used to determine the amount of snow that is falling, is a function of the liquid-equivalent precipiation rate, the ambient temperature, and the 10 meter wind speed
This page will allow you to compare actual snowfall as shown on the snow board versus the calculated snowfall. This will be on a daily cycle from 4 pm one day to 4 pm the next day.
First image and data: Represents snowfall that has occurred since 4 pm.
uploaded daily, every 15 minutes from 3 am to 11 pm
Second image and data: Represents snowfall that has occurred in the preceding 24 hours.
uploaded once daily at around 4 pm
Generally the snow board is cleaned daily, Tuesday through Sunday just after 4 pm. Monday the snow board is not cleaned and will represent accumulated snow fall since Sunday at 4 pm.
